What Is HogaToga?
HogaToga is an independent technology publication founded in 2022. Our Team
HogaToga is run by a small, named editorial team. Every article is written and edited by a human being — we do not publish AI-generated prose. Our full team page lists each editor and writer with their background and areas of focus.
Jonathan Garcia is Editor-in-Chief and sets editorial standards across all verticals. He has overseen HogaToga’s coverage since its founding and is responsible for the policies that govern how we report, review, and correct our work. Gregory Parker leads Mobile Gaming coverage, reviewing titles across Android and iOS with a focus on monetisation transparency and actual gameplay depth. Richard Flores is our Senior Gadgets Writer, covering smartphones, wearables, and consumer electronics with hands-on testing as a baseline requirement for every review. Edward Howard covers Future Tech and emerging technology, tracking developments in AI, connectivity, and hardware from research phase to consumer impact. Thomas Robinson is our Senior How-To & Apps Writer, responsible for our tutorials and application assessments — every step he publishes has been performed on a real device first.
Our Standards
Every article on HogaToga goes through human editing before it is published. We cite the sources we rely on — official developer documentation, manufacturer spec sheets, platform announcements — so readers can verify what we write. When we review an app or device, our verdict is based on actual use, not on a press release. We never accept payment to publish positive coverage, and we clearly disclose affiliate relationships when they exist.
We apply a firm no-scam rule across all content. HogaToga will not publish articles about "free in-game currency generators," guaranteed cheat tricks, cracked software, or unofficial APK sources that put readers at risk. If a game has a legitimate promotional event, we cover it. If someone is promoting a scam around that game, we say so clearly. This is not just a content standard — it is part of our obligation to the people who trust us for technology guidance.
